It is located 45 km southwest of Lefkada Town, the island’s capital, close to Athani village. The setting of this beach is unique. The shore is surrounded by white barren cliffs and the sea has the characteristic turquoise color of the Ionian. Porto Katsiki is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, but you can find some private spots under the cliffs.
Egremni Beach
Egremni is a stunning beach located 40 km from Lefkada Town. It is a long sandy beach with shiny pebbles, insulated by towering cliffs that create a beautiful backdrop. What’s more, Egremni beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, but it also has some private spots. This beach used to be accessible through the 325 steps that led to the shore. Nevertheless, due to an earthquake that destroyed the steps, Egremni is only accessible by boat now.
Kathisma Beach

It is covered with fine sand and has emerald waters that are ideal for swimming. Surrounded by verdant mountains, Kathisma beach boasts a stunning natural setting and offers a sense of seclusion, even when it gets overcrowded. This beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, while it has a wide selection of facilities.
Agios Ioannis Beach
Agios Ioannis beach is one of the most popular beaches in Lefkada, mainly due to its close distance to Lefkada Town. Another reason why Agios Ioannis is quite popular is its reputation as one of the best beaches for windsurfing in Lefkada. This beach stretches for many meters and has the characteristic turquoise waters of the Ionian sea. What’s more, on Agios Ioannis beach you’ll find some old windmills as well as the beautiful whitewashed church of Agios Ioannis Antzousis that ooze a nostalgic charm.
